Ph.D., researcher, deputy director of the Scientific Research Department of Beijing Natural History Museum, is engaged in geological paleontology and mineral gemology research, as well as science popularization. He has published more than 60 scientific research papers, and the published popular science books include "The Return of the Mesozoic King", "Encyclopedia of Prehistoric Animals", "Dinosaur Encyclopedia", "Dinosaur Strike" and many others. He was selected into Beijing "New Century Talents Project" in 2010 and his scientific research results won the first and third prizes of Beijing Science and Technology Award, and also won the Award for Excellent Scientific and Technological Achievements granted by Beijing Institute of Science and Technology in 2012, 2016 and 2018, respectively. In 2016, he was also approved as the Chief Expert of Innovation Team of Beijing Institute of Science and Technology. He is currently the member of the Chinese Society of Vertebrate Paleontology, the member of National Committee of Experts on Paleontology and Fossils, and the director of Beijing Zoological Society.
