Today, the 2019 World Conference on Science Literacy was held by the China Association for Science and Technology in Beijing. At the conference, Gong Ke, President-Elect of the World Federation of Engineering Organizations (WFEO) and Executive President of the Chinese Institute of New Generation Artificial Intelligence Development Strategies, was interviewed by Xinhuanet, pointing out that sustainable development can only be understood well when science is understood well, and adding that education is the basic means to improve public science literacy.
